This eight-week project involved extending this home to add additional vibrant living space for a professional couple to enjoy relaxing in whilst overlooking their garden. The foundations for this job had to be dug deeper than usual due to poor ground conditions as there was clay present. This was quickly spotted and dealt with at the beginning of the process allowing us to keep to schedule. As a result of this, the construction of the subfloor had to be altered from the plans and changed to a suspended block and beam floor in order to comply with building control. After the main external construction was complete we fitted a set of slick bi-fold doors with integral blinds alongside 2 large Velux windows allowing the space to have maximum natural light.
